Rhapsody in Blue

Every room in the house was touched during this project. New kitchen, all new bathrooms, new fireplace surround, new flooring, new paint, updated laundry room and even a new front door. The most dramatic change was removing the dropped ceiling over the dining room to expose the vaulted ceiling and removing the drywall ½ walls surrounding the stairway and changing it to railings. These changes opened up and connected the rooms on the main level and increased the natural light in the space. As you can see, the homeowner has an affinity for blue. Paired with the dark wood on the windows and the newly stained floor, the color pops making the space feel lively and fun. The brass accents really shine. One other highlight is the piano room cabinetry complete with a rolling library ladder. Cabinets are Siteline Cabinetry.
