Denver Penthouse Library

This room was originally used as a gym. It had rubber floors and simple drywall walls with an awkward mechanical soffit running along the side wall. Given that this room has one of the most beautiful rooms in the house, the client wanted to repurpose this space into an office, library and sitting room. The aesthetic needed to blend with the rest of the traditional and classical style of the rest of the unit. We continued the soffit around the room for cohesion, added built-in bookcases, wainscot wall paneling and wool carpet. Modern furniture gave it the finishing touch.
