Genesee Modern

This remodel of a 1970’s home transformed the small, closed-in kitchen into a bright, open, modern space that connects the kitchen to the living room. A large island was added to the kitchen for optimal function and seating. We used a combination of Site Line and Nickels Custom Cabinets to meet the budget and aesthetic. The natural walnut cabinets were provided by Nickels.

In the living room, we replaced the dated moss rock fireplace surround with modern tile and a gas firebox. The dark wood ceiling was removed, and the beams were stained a new color. New flooring, fresh paint, and new stair rails were included in the remodel. The powder room was also given a refresh as well as a few spaces in the basement.
