Squaw Pass Mountainside

This new construction home sits high on a mountainside with an incredible panoramic view that stretches all the way to Denver. A dense pine tree glade exists on the back of the house. Large plate glass windows made the landscape part of the palette. The interior design was a true blend of rustic mountain style and contemporary design. Blackbird assisted the client with all interior finishes, cabinetry and fixtures including wood flooring and beam colors.  The detailed fireplace design was also part of the scope. The homeowner’s eclectic taste in both style and furniture adds beautiful, rich, interesting layers to the contemporary architecture making the home feel warm, personal and comfortable. The kitchen light fixtures were even hand carried back from Bali!  The client's multicultural roots, extensive travels and global outlook is evident in every room and is what made this project so wonderful and so unique.  As a designer, it was a true pleasure being a part of this project.
